Have you always wanted a short, easy way to explain veiling to those who ask? Do you want to help spread information and dispel rumors about veiling?

Our beautiful new 4" x 6" cards printed on glossy cardstock are the perfect way to share with your friends, family, priests, and parish the meaning behind the veil. Leave them in the information rack at your parish or Adoration Chapel, or hand them out at your mom's group, retreat, or Bible study group. Help us invite the world to "Rediscover Reverence" in the presence of our God in the Holy Eucharist!

2 cards are available:

"Why Do Catholic Women Wear Veils at Mass?" is meant to explain this tradition briefly to those who are unfamiliar with it and includes a quote from St. John Chrysostom, Doctor of the Church. The front features a beautiful photo of our Authentic Spanish Seville Mantilla.

"Are You Considering Veiling at Mass" is primarily targeted at women who may already know about veiling and are thinking about wearing a veil at Mass. The front features a reverent photo of a veiled, kneeling woman receiving Holy Communion.

I bought these to hand out to anyone who asks why I wear a veil to Mass. Love them!

I love these cards. They put my feelings in words I can't find. I have people ask me why I veil. I have a short answer but I like to give them one of these cards to carry with them.

I've thought of asking our priest if I can put some of these in our rack with other brochures and information.

    the Spanish mantillas

Posted by Laura E. Perez on 22nd Dec 2017

I am now the proud owner and wearer of 4 different Spanish mantillas. They are all beautiful, hang very well, and have sparked interest by others, some of whom have since purchased and wear veils of their own now. They also have given me an ability to, by pulling my veil somewhat forward, to block out the rest of the world and concentrate on just having received the precious Body and Blood of my Lord and God.

    "We Veil ..." and "Rediscover..."

Posted by Laura E. Perez on 22nd Dec 2017

I have been veiling for over 3 yrs now but only discovered Lily's last year. I received an initial set of 10 of each of these cards with a veil order. I received my pastor's skeptical approval to put the cards out in the vestible. In the last three months the cards have disappeared after sitting for a while. Veils have been popping up at Mass. Our pastor let me know we needed more cards out. :-) So I ordered some more and will be putting them out this weekend.

    Wonderful Way to Evangelize

Posted by MP on 5th Dec 2017

I highly recommend these lovely informational cards as a way to explain the beauty and importance of veiling in our modern world. Ask your pastor if you can put some in the informational rack, and keep some with you to pass out when people ask about veiling.

    Easy Evangelization!

Posted by Christi Benites on 4th May 2017

It doesn't get much easier than this! Simply place these easy to read cards in a brochure rack or on tables by your church doors and there you go! Graphics are inviting and the text is simple to read and understand. Will probably order these regularly to keep in our parish.

    Answering why?

Posted by Peggy on 11th Jun 2016

I plan to leave a few "WhyVeil" cards in the back of my church (I attend two, depending on my schedule). Also, I will hand out to those who ask me "why"! When I first started veiling I was self conscious, but no longer.
The service was prompt. There was a minor error with my order that was immediately resolved.
BTW my sister in law likes my infinity veil and is considering purchasing one as an alternate to the one she usually wears.
