Just received my black princess veil and it is lovely. It frames my face nicely and is a good length in back. I'm a little nervous to veil in my church as no one else does except two at daily mass. I wear scarves on Sunday and my starter veil at adoration. I love that this veil is nice and subtle. I got the sewn in mini clip, I'm glad I did but I make sure a put a bit of fabric between the clip and the rest of the veil when I fold it and put in bag so it doesn't get caught and damage the lace. Happy with my purchase.
I ordered this veil with the mini clip added, and I am thrilled! It is SO soft, very light weight, and does not slip or move AT ALL with the clip. The drape is beautiful, the quality is amazing, and I couldn't be happier.
Not too overwhelming.,...will probably get a white one, too. I like it because I am returning to the habit of veiling to honor JESUS presence in our Catholic Churches.
I am 5'2" and petite frame. The length and style are perfect For me. I love the "fall" of the veil and the way it frames my Face. I ordered the black veil. I already own three other veils from Lily, but I now have a three month old daughter who is quickly learning to grab onto things. This veil offers the same wonderful quality that I love, but doesn't have the long edges in front. The fabric is very soft and drapes beautifully. Personally, I like the veils that have more embroidery than open netting, so I may add a layer underneath, but I think this one will quickly become my favorite.
