This mourning veil is available in a dot tulle or Chantilly lace pattern with scalloped edge and comes with a black sewn-in comb in the center of the veil for easy wearing. May be worn covering the face or lifted back giving the veil a double-layer look.
Measures approximately 19" from the top of the head to the edge of the veil.
Gently hand-wash cold with mild soap. Lay flat to dry. Cool iron if needed.

I bought this veil to match my untraditional swiss dot, vintage-style black wedding dress. I was disappointed to find that there was a black comb attached to it in the dead center of the veil (I was not aware it would come this way, as the product listing didn't state it so). I was able to remove it very carefully with a seam ripper, however I had to leave behind a few dots of residual threads because it appears that they were glued in place after being sewn. Thankfully it blends in with the fabric and will go unnoticed by others. Very nicely made. REPLY: Thank you so much for your feedback. I have been looking for an appropriate mourning veil and have not been able to find one until I found Veils by Lily! I bought the flower model and it is perfect! I can wear it alone or with a hat and it come to just the right length on my shoulders. Lily is right: no one should have to witness one's grief. I feel prepared and I am very pleased.
