Authentic Spanish Camellia Mantillas

I have been wanting this veil for a while now and my husband said to get it for my birthday. I love the red and black together. It will be my veil for holy days, holidays and other special occasions. I’ve been veiling for several years and it just makes church and the mass feel so much more special. It’s hard to put into words. I teach kindergarten catechism and as a class, we attend mass once a month, and I always put on my veil as we’re walking to church. Many times the children ask me “why?” And the simplest explanation I can give them is I want to look special for Jesus. Several of the little girls have expressed an interest, so that is something I want to explore with the parents.

The lilac and black camellia mantilla is lovely. I have received compliments on it. I have been wearing it to Mass during Advent and will wear it during Lent.

I bought this veil to wear to my friend’s wedding. My only veil prior to this one was white and I didn’t feel comfortable wearing that to her wedding- I also wanted to switch to a darker color since I’m married and (obviously haha) like to do things a bit more traditionally. I got the black and gold version of this and after reading that it may be a bit more stiff due to the color of the fabric, I was nervous that it might not sit on my head correctly. It sits perfectly! It’s such a lovely, soft and beautiful veil. I’m so happy with my purchase! I’ll definitely be ordering from here again.

BEAUTIFUL

Purchased with sewn in mini comb. The veil is very beautiful and well made. I have fine hair and the sewn in comb was a good choice. I will purchase regularly from Veils by Lily and highly recommend them!

I’ve admired this mantilla for ages, but never ordered it because I have so many, including blue ones. Recently a friend asked about a black and sapphire blue mantilla I was wearing, so I offered to order one. There were no Spanish mantillas available in that color combination, so I ordered this one. I subsequently found another mantilla in the color my friend requested, so I ordered that one, and kept this one. It’s very beautiful, and I’m glad to finally have it in my collection.

I am very please with this purchase. I got it in black and it is very elegant. The only thing is that it is longer than I anticipated, which means that when I sit down the back gets caught between me and the pew. The mini clip helps keep it in place, so I am glad I ordered it, but that is something to consider.

I have gotten compliments on this lovely mantilla. I ordered the white one and it is perfect for Easter season to match vestments and for any Mass. glad I ordered it
