    Mrs. Castillo

This Spanish Camellia veil was purchased for an 83-year old mother of one of my coworkers who has found his way back to the Roman Catholic Chruch. He wanted to bring "mumsy" to the Spanish Mass offered at our parish (St. Anthony Mary Claret, San Antonio, Texas). He chose this veil for her and passed along that she absolutely loves it! I'm so pleased I could share such a special gift for a very special woman.

    All My Veils

Posted by Alberta Matthews on 16th Jan 2023

I love each, and every, veil I have purchased, with the Spanish Camellia the latest (ordered the black/green to wear during Ordinary Time). I'm a widow and each veil has a very special meaning to me. I'm also coming out of mourning and am finally adding color back into my veils to match the liturgical colors. I love the Special Veils, Tongues of Fire, Lady of Guadalupe, Advent/Lent, Christmas, and will continue to order regardless of the number of veils (each speak to me in a most special way) in my preference to veil at Mass. I love veiling and Veils by Lily for making this possible for us! :o)

    Beautiful Veil

Posted by Melissa on 13th Jan 2023

I adore my veil especially the color combination (gold and black). The only issue I have had is using the sewn-in comb. The veil slips off pretty easily, but this may be due to me not using the comb correctly and/or my little ones tugging at the veil to get a better look!

    Snap Comb

Simply beautiful! And on sale, too! I neglected to have a snap comb sewn in, but thankfully I had some at home . Better to have a "pro" do it!

    My special veil

Posted by Kathleen Askew on 11th Dec 2022

I have been wanting this veil for a while now and my husband said to get it for my birthday. I love the red and black together. It will be my veil for holy days, holidays and other special occasions. I’ve been veiling for several years and it just makes church and the mass feel so much more special. It’s hard to put into words. I teach kindergarten catechism and as a class, we attend mass once a month, and I always put on my veil as we’re walking to church. Many times the children ask me “why?” And the simplest explanation I can give them is I want to look special for Jesus. Several of the little girls have expressed an interest, so that is something I want to explore with the parents.
