    I purchased these cards so I could share with women in my parish. I want them to know that it is still acceptable to veil at mass.

    Gave one free card out to each of the faculty members at my Catholic school and the female students in my class

    I gave one out to each of the female students in my class and to each faculty member so the latter would understand why the girls in my class and I veil at mass. I plan on giving one to each of our three parish priests too, because it's a nice reminder of why women and girls veil at mass. The image on the front made my girls feel special as did the caption, We Veil the Sacred. I gave each Spanish speaker one in Spanish as well. I'm keeping the rest for next year's class. Thank you Veils by Lily. These are beautiful reminders of why we veil.

    This card explains beautifully why women have been veiled in churches down through the centuries. It gives a lovely explanation that reminds me of "The Wedding Song" which says, "Woman draws her life from man and gives it back again, and there is love." It also explains how the Church, the Bride of Christ, receives its life from Christ in the Holy Eucharist, and women veil for him.
