French Stella Maris Mantillas

My girlfriend loved the veil and will bring her to a deeper encounter at mass. The picture is a little more yellow than the veil color itself! But it was great!

I ordered and received the purple and rose French Stella Marisa Mantilla. It is beautiful and meets my expectations. For those curious, the rose color does not stand out very much-it looks mostly purple (which is great because I got it for advent). I love the design in the lace and the drape.

I just purchased the garnet color of Stella Maris- my fifth veil of this style. Obviously I like them. They have a wide color selection and a lot of the colors are more sophisticated and not overly brassy or showy. The length and depth is good. I like to wear the veils lower over my brow and this one doesn’t ride up high in the back when pulled down low in the front. I don’t use clips and have very slippery hair. Some colors are more slippery than others. Black, old gold, and the dark eggplant stay on the best so far. The navy on black is slippery. Time will tell what garnet does. I get all my veils blessed so to earn the partial indulgence of using a blessed sacramental.

I ordered this in black, and it is so beautiful! It is so soft, and hangs beautifully. The quality is amazing. I will certainly be ordering more veils in the future from veils by Lily. Very impressed!

The Stella Maris design is very lovely. These veils are exquisite, heirloom quality, not just "ordinary" veils. The colors I have ordered have all been beautiful. Thanks for making such gorgeous veils available.

These veils have the most beautiful drape of any of the ones I have ordered. They feel elegant and are not stiff at all!

Although the gold color is slightly off from the photo (it’s less metallic and bit duller in color than pictured) I absolutely LOVE the veil. This is the 4th I’ve purchased, and this is my favorite weight and drape veil yet. I’ve received multiple compliments on it, and will be buying this style in more colors soon!

This is a beautiful mantilla. It hangs beautifully and I love the blue color I chose. I plan to get more colors. Veiling is such a simple yet powerful vocation. I see the numbers of those wearing veils growing. I hope to be an example for the younger generation that did not grow up wearing a mantilla. I remember as a small child that we did not enter the church without covering our heads. I even wore a hanky or my mom's crocheted doilies pinned on with a bobby pin when there was nothing else. Now I have quite the assortment of pretty veils thanks to Lily..

I have purchased 6 veils and have LOVED all of them except this one :( The color in person is not gold, but more of neon yelllow/green. I purchased this veil to wear at Christmas Eve mass because of the gold, but I definitely won’t be doing that.
