UPDATE: I thought this comment from a male visitor was just wonderful, so I'm posting it here for all to see!

Would love to win this as a BDay gift for my girlfriend... who's also my wife. We debated the whole "to veil or not to veil" issue and finally said, who cares if people think we're being goody twoshoes... God knows we're imperfect and so does our confessor! Ha! Anyhow, we LOVE your veil and I am SO proud of my wife. She is young and vibrant and in love with Jesus so it's such an awesome testimony that veils aren't for old italian grannies, they are meant to accentuate the glory of womenhood and sanctity. Thanks to all you women who love God so much and Lily for the awesome veils.

I am just getting into the Catholic faith. I have gone to mass at a local church, and I was bothered by how evangelical it seemed. I plan on following the older traditions. Starting with veiling. Hopefully I can bring modesty back into 'style' in my parish.

I love veiling. I bought a veil from you a few months back. I felt inspired to veil, found this website and ordered a veil. The first time I wore the veil I felt a bit uncomfortable. My boys acted as if they were embarrassed of me. I stuck it out for another Sunday or two. I now love wearing my veil. I attend a university campus parrish and I am surrounded by young females. I have been asked many times why I wear the veil. I use it as an opportunity to teach about veiling. I now have two "Veils by Lilly." I love them and feel naked if I do not have one on when I enter a church.

I'm so happy to see so many people who love the meaning inherent in wearing a veil. I've been wearing mine since my conversion 4 years ago at any and all Mass, but I haven't gotten myself a new veil since, and all the ones here are gorgeous!

I have been thinking about veiling for over a year now. I finally wore one to adoration the other day and just felt, while I was wearing it, that I had arms around me, that I was totally safe, protected, and loved. It was beautiful.

My fiancé finds it really amusing whenever he tries to take a sneak peak of me whenever I'm veiled at Mass. When I notice his glances, I stick my tongue out at him.

Since I'm getting married soon, I'll soon have to 'upgrade' to a black one.

What a beautiful idea. I have been thinking and praying about veiling for a long while. Not many women at my church veil but I have been seeing more and more younger women in other parishes veil, maybe we can start it in our parish. I also have an almost 11 yr old daughter who would veil too. I will post on my facebook page too.

I think veiling is a beautiful tradition even if no one at my church does it. Yours are absolutely lovely. I've recently been making efforts to rekindle my Catholic faith and am considering wearing a veil, as well as some of the other traditions that have become less common nowadays.

When I was a young girl in the Philippines, I used to see mantillas worn in catholic churches, Today I am happy to know that women all over the world are wearing them. I will be visiting the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament in Alabama very soon. They will have a latin mass and the mantilla would be the most appropriate time for this day. Thank you very much for all the ladies who still wear the mantillas. God bless.

I have been contemplating wearing a veil all summer. I've looked at your veils and they are so pretty and so tempting to wear. I bought some scarves to wear, but what I think I need is a mantilla to push me into the right direction. God bless you for your site and your mantillas.

Lily, through the intercession of our Lady's Immaculate Heart, I pray for the success of your business which is truly mission work. The task of creating garments to be worn in obedience to our Lord is in itself a prayer. What a blessing your talent is. May all of the women who wear your veils receive many graces. I particularly love my veil in golden lace!!! It is perfectly understated with my blond hair. I can't wait to wear the purple during Lent. This color will take more courage, as I'm one of only 2 or 3 that veil at my cathedral. I felt called to begin to veil and cover my shoulders during Pentecost Mass 2010. I didn't understand it really so I began to do research online. During this time I also felt strongly that I should kneel while receiving the Eucharist - - ALWAYS, even though I'm 1 of only a few in a parish of thousands. The Lord is present. He is our King. So is our Lady. And the Saints. And heavenly Angels. Thank you dear Lily for your loving ministry. I will gift to my mother a veil if I'm selected. I pray that she will overcome her pride and fear, and begin veiling . . .

Great idea! I love Veils by Lily! My fav is the sheer champagne mantilla, the black shawl mantilla and the wine/silver! Once you veil you'll be hooked, especially with how nice these ones are.

I posted about veils by Lily in my blog, but my blog is new...

Beautiful veils! I love wearing a veil to Mass (or even whenever I enter a church). Your veils are lovely! I would like to enter! :)

I would love to win one myself! Today is the first day I've covered my hair (with a scarf) and I love how it feels! I know people are looking @ me and judging me, but oh my gosh, I feel so much more spiritual! I'm so glad I recently started attending a Catholic Church where women veil. It's such a beautiful feeling!

Blessings,

I've recently been baptized and confirmed in the church and I'm trying to get my sister and a close friend to come back as well. I see a few women at Mass with veils and I really like the tradition and the meaning behind veiling. Even if I don't win, I will be purchasing one of your veils very soon! :) I've posted this giveaway on my FB page and I'm going to email it to my friends and family as well!

Lily, your veils are lovely. I developed my love of being veiled in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament as a child, and have always missed having to. I would love one of your veils, and will both post on Facebook and email friends. I can be reached at Susan.Thies@Facebook.com

I have veiled for about six months. I am proud to say that I enjoy it, and feel closer to our heavenly father. I wish all women would choose to cover during worship. It has brought me closer to god, my church, and my faith. God bless all. ~ J. Forsman
